UPI QR Code Generator
How to Use This Tool
Generating a UPI QR code with this tool is simple and quick. Follow these steps:
- Enter Payee UPI ID (VPA): This is the unique identifier for the recipient’s UPI account (e.g., `yourname@bank` or `mobile_number@upi`). This field is mandatory.
- Enter Payee Name (Optional): Add the name of the recipient for better identification.
- Enter Amount: You can enter an amount here.
- If you select “Yes” for “Accept only fixed amount on this QR?”, the QR code will only allow payments of this exact amount. If no amount is entered, or it’s zero, and “Yes” is selected, an alert will prompt you.
- If you select “No” (default), the amount entered will be pre-filled, but the payer can still edit it before payment. If no amount is entered, the payer will need to input the amount themselves.
- Enter Transaction Note (Optional): Add a short description or note for the transaction, which will also appear in the payment app.
- Click “Generate QR Code”: Your custom UPI QR code will instantly appear below the input fields.
- Download or Share:
- Click “Download QR Code” to save the image to your device (PNG format).
- Click “Share on WhatsApp” to send a descriptive message about the QR code to your contacts, prompting them to scan or use the downloaded image.
How the Generated QR Code Works:
When someone scans this QR code using any UPI-enabled payment app (like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, etc.), the app will automatically fetch the payee’s details (UPI ID, name, amount if pre-filled and fixed, and note). The payer just needs to confirm the details and enter their UPI PIN to complete the instant payment.
